Travelers who have the craze for stargazing and photography need not look around any further as Kibber is the best place for them in the entire Spiti Valley. Located at a dizzying altitude of 4200m above sea level, Kibber village is famous for a monastery and the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary.

With Kibber being a predominantly agriculture based community, travelers will find a lot of lush green fields during the summer season with plenty of livestock like horses and yaks around it. A popular places for mountaineers and trekking enthusiasts, travelers can hike all the way upto the Dandmachan Peak for a surreal view of the village and valley area.
