Often regarded as one of the most famous pilgrimage sites for Hindus, the Amarnath Cave Temples are a divine miracle in itself. The cave is located around 140 km from Srinagar and at a dizzying altitude of 3900m above sea level.

Due its extreme altitude, the cave is surrounded by snow throughout the year and only opens for a very short period of time every year when millions of Hindu pilgrims flock in to take the blessings of the almighty. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, every year the cave witness the natural formation of a 40m high Shivalinga completely made of ice.
