Built on the banks of the river Jhelum in 1395 by Sultan Sikander, Khanqah-e-Moula is a a shrine of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadani located in the city of Srinagar. The mosque has been much revered in Indian medieval history as it has been mentioned by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir on a number of occasions. The charm of the place gets highlighted with its unique wooden design, hanging bells, and carved eaves.
