Shankaracharya Temple, also known as Jyoteshwar Temple or Pas-Pahar, is located on the top of a hill known as the Takht-e-Suleman in the capital city of Srinagar. One of the oldest temples in India, Shankaracharya Temple’s origins can be traced back as far as 200 BC. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is highly respected and revered by devout Hindu and Buddhist followers in the region.
