Situated 16 kms North of Kaza, Langza is a tiny village in the Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh famous for its fossil hunting. Due to its close proximity to the China border, most of the population in Langza practice Tibetan Buddhism. It is an interesting place for handicraft lovers as the primary occupation of the villagers is mud craft. Vessels, ornaments, and souvenirs of all shapes and sizes are produced in this village and sold all across the country.

A visit to Langza should primarily be with a focus of fossil hunting as the travelers may find these rare fossils climb higher up in the mountains around Langza. The surroundings of this village is also blessed with two pristine lakes- Tsonyeti and Chumo Tso. The only way of going to the lake is by a 3-4 hour trek up into the mountains.
